It’s Official, Official and Confirmed - Gerald Griggs Re-Elected Georgia NAACP President.

(New York City, NY) Following the National Board of Directors' vote, the challenge to the election has been dismissed, and the Georgia State Conference's election has been officially validated. At the February meeting of the NAACP's National Board, the election of officers for the Georgia State Conference held in October was reaffirmed.

Gerald Griggs, the re-elected President of the State Conference, remarked, "After a strenuous and disputed election process, it's time to unite and persist in serving the people of Georgia. The Georgia NAACP remains steadfast in its commitment to progress. I extend my gratitude to the National Board and the voters for their unwavering support of our mission for social justice and civil rights."
