National Bar Association hosts Listening Tour in Atlanta, Attorney Gerald Griggs among participants

On April 19, 2025, Atlanta attorney and civil rights leader Gerald Griggs participated in the National Bar Association's (NBA) Listening and Engagement Tour during its Atlanta stop. The NBA, the nation's oldest and largest network of predominantly Black American attorneys and judges, is conducting this tour to connect with local legal communities, foster dialogue, and reaffirm its commitment to justice and equity.

Griggs, who serves as the President of the Georgia NAACP, joined fellow NBA members and local Black bar associations in a day of community engagement. The event included discussions on pressing legal issues, strategies for community empowerment, and a rededication to the NBA's mission of advocacy and service.
In a recent social media post, Griggs reflected on the day's events, stating, "Yesterday, members of the National Bar Association and the local black bar associations had an outing in Atlanta, where we re-dedicated..."
The NBA's Listening and Engagement Tour is part of its centennial celebrations, marking 100 years of legal excellence and leadership. The tour aims to gather insights from legal professionals across the country to inform the NBA's future initiatives and strengthen its national network.
