GEORGIA NAACP PRESIDENT GERALD GRIGGS RALLIES WITH PUTNAM COMMUNITY FOR JIMMY DAVIS PARK

In response to years of neglect and deterioration, the East Eatonton community in Georgia took a proactive stance by organizing a march and rally, urging for reinvestment in their community park, aptly named after the late Commissioner Jimmy Davis. With the initiation of renovations by Putnam County, the community's call for improvements in the park and amenities for the Community Center and Park remains steadfast. The renovations to Jimmy Davis Park needs to be prioritized and completed as soon as possible.

During the rally, President Gerald Griggs made a notable appearance, encouraging the crowd to persist in raising their voices for transformative change and tangible action. President Griggs emphasized the significance of ensuring that the community's voice resonates loudly and unmistakably. He affirmed, "We are committed to standing by the people, providing support to the community to amplify their voices."
